Our Learn to Groom your Own Dog program is specifically design for pet parents that want to learn the skills to take care of their furry companions between professional grooms. This is a fun, half day grooming class with one of our Prestige Instructors, allowing you to bond with your dog and learn how the professionals do things. You get your dog groomed in safe and professional environment, with professional tools and equipment.

About our Learn to Groom Your Own Dog Class
This program is designed to be a fun interactive half day class with your beloved fur baby! We provide the facility, the tools, and the know how! You just bring yourself and your dog and have a fun day learning.

Step by Step Stages System
By teaching in stages, we allow students to focus on specific groups of techniques, practice them until they can perform them confidently and independently.
Much like music lessons, students learn new aspects every beginning of the week, practice those new techniques throughout the week, and then are tested on those techniques at the end of every week. teaching in stages step by step has proven to develop more confident independent students post graduation.
Mentoring opportunities for our students to mentor other students allows our students the ability to retain all they have learned, gain more confidence in the skills they now know, and also practice training others for the success of their own future endeavours! Did you know more than 50% of Prestige graduates start their own businesses? Knowing how to train staff and work with others is essential to long term success in this industry!
Observation is an important aspect of learning dog grooming. Even advanced grooming seminars are based on observation. Learning how to learn from watching is essential to future career success. Students must leanr to follow direction verbally and by watching as teh industry is constantly evolving and these skills make any student able to adapt quickly and continue learning in any future work environment!
